Service Engineering and Management

The service engineering and management discipline is expanding within many business activities. Service can be defined as "a time-perishable, intangible experience performed for a customer acting in the role of a co-producer, where, service enterprises are organizations that facilitate the production and distribution of goods, support other firms in meeting their goals, and add value to our personal lives" (Fitzsimmons & Fitzsimmons, 2007).This discipline can facilitate any organization strivings toward successful accomplishment of the aims and objectives of a sustainable company. Nowadays, in developed countries like US, EU countries, etc. the majority of the workforce is employed in service enterprises, this fact emphasis the importance of the service management domain.
